Every day on the news I hear how bad the economy is doing, more people are getting laid off. All around me family members are laid off and looking for new jobs in an economy were jobs are in short supplies. Other friends are getting their pay cut and count themselves grateful that they at least still have a job. These are people with good university degrees, that spent thousands of dollars on their education and are still paying off the loans that they had to take.

Everyone seems to be stuck in a rut, worrying about the economy and if they will still have a job in a week. Lets face it big companies don’t really care about their employees but about profits. If they did care they wouldn’t outsource work to other countries or lay their employees off.

What most people don’t seem to realize that times like these are a great for trying new opportunities that are out there. There are hundreds of people making insane amounts of money because they decided to step out of the norm and decide to change what they are doing.

They realize that just having a good education, being a hard and a committed employee to their company is not going to cut it anymore.

What these people do is become totally self reliant, take advantage of today’s trends and profit off it and they use the internet to do it.

A lot of people out there are probably thinking “yeah sure, these are internet geniuses, I can’t do it.” I’m here to tell you, “Yes You Can.” People that are getting this success are people like you and me, from stay at home moms, to ex-engineers, to professional marketers. All it takes is a decision to take your life and your future in to your own hands, find what works for you and what’s profitable.

Keep an eye on what will allow you to make a great income and allow you to have more time to do the things that you want and spend time with your family. Everything else you can learn as you go, all it takes is the decision to take control and change your life for the better.

Over the years Federal regulatory agencies like FTC started to clamp down on product & income   claims made by distributors in this industry who don’t know the law when it comes to advertising & marketing.  In other words your company is liable for all its distributors.  In order to protect themselves for liability of false claims made by their distributors, some companies no longer allow their distributors to use the company name in their advertising and on your websites unless you are using their corporate replicated websites.  This protects the consumer from scams and the company from liability, but it makes marketing a lot harder for network marketers.  So many network marketers are hit with a dilemma of how to market their business opportunity if they can’t mention the company name.  I wondered that too when I first joined my primary business.  “How the hell am I supposed to do this.”  Yes I was ignorant in the ways of marketing.

The solution to this is simple.

You have to realize that that people don’t want your opportunity, they want a SOLUTION to their problems.  Therefore instead of marketing your business opportunity on the front end you should market yourself as a leader and the one that can provide the solution to their problem.  Understand that your business is secondary.  It is when you establish the communication with your leads, via e-mail or phone, is when you can talk about your business opportunity all you want on the back end, without any legal risks. Your capture pages, websites blogs and any social media sites should always promote you even if you are legally allowed to promote your business by name.  This is how top network marketers do it.  How many of you out there know what primary business Mike Dillard is involved with or Ann Seig?  We know them mostly because of their attraction marketing strategies not for their businesses opportunities.
