Although merely a concept, the future has been the product with the best sales history ever. This might just be the reason for My Harvest America to dub their internet based shopping system “The Grocery Store of the Future”.  It is indeed clear that the direction in which the market is moving is from a direct go-buy approach to a more abstract one like internet ordering.  For the MLM business, this might be the change that makes the difference and My Harvest America have seized the chance with their new concept.  A question rises, however:  is this approach going to be profitable for the contemporary buyer, or are we still waiting for the concept to be truly and efficiently implemented?

The official day for the re-launch of the company has been the 22nd of December 2009. In a bold attempt to rethink their marketing strategies, My Harvest America has made the leap from the 90ish perceivable catalog shopping to the virtual notion of online grocery shopping. As a direct consequence, your commercial strategy should evolve from the old-school “spread the word to friends and relatives” to the more recent and techy online marketing method. However, it seems this will be your responsibility, as the company hasn’t yet created any strategy to that end. We can give them the fact that  they have made some improvements, e.g.: they offer to host a website for you, the internet connection techniques, the computer-initiated matrix, etc.

My Harvest America’s two co-founders are also present in their current management team, with Fred Weih as the company’s CEO and Ron Ellis as president. Their main skills are set within the field of MLM marketing, which may be a plus for the company overall profile.  Another noteworthy appearance in the company’s staff is Joe R. Glenn, Attorney At Law.

My Harvest America sports an array of everyday-use non-perishable products, as one would expect. The upside of this is that you would have to choose these products while simply sitting comfortably at home and have them delivered to your place. Owing to Fred Weih’s experience and prowess in direct sales and to the apparent lack of competition, the company is presented with the chance of taking over this specific market segment.

Viewpoints on market demand for this specific way of selling groceries may vary, as its advantages are debatable. One big drawback is that in order to buy perishable products such as meat, dairy or vegetables, you will still have to go to supermarkets, so you won’t be saving much on gasoline or time for that matter.  As opposed to the vastness of product brands you can find in a supermarket, My Harvest America offers a narrow range of brands, and this can be a bother for the usual shopper who prefers brands who are not listed in MHA offer. Moreover, the limited number of shipping stores can only translate to longer shipping time. But all these drawbacks didn’t stop a number of almost 1000 possible customers to register on the MHA website during the opening day, and this is quite an accomplishment.

As far as the compensation plan is regarded, My Harvest America lets its customers choose from two different membership types, Shopper and Super Shopper. The main difference between these two types is that the former gets a 10 percent bonus on each representative, whereas the latter’s bonus is 20 percent. They also get a matching bonus on each of their rep’s rep as far as the 5th level. The maximum number of levels is set to 8, each sponsor getting to sport 3 reps on their respective first level. A thorough understanding of internet marketing techniques is indispensable in order to actually profit from this.  You don’t need only to build a good team, but you also have to make sure that the team is working and bringing profits. All this requires professional training, but is My Harvest America going to provide it?

Apparently, this is not the case. There aren’t any hints to training on the MHA website, but this is customary for freshly created MLM internet pages. All you can get from their page is an Advertising Guideline and a Question & Answer document related to MHA Grocery frequent issues.

Disappointingly enough, My Harvest America still seems to throw national “bring a friend” conferences instead of the Network Marketing strategy training you would honestly be expecting. This can only mean that if you want to make money through their online grocery stores, you have to learn the proper strategies and techniques by yourself, and build your team accordingly.

All in all, My Harvest America gives the impression of a clear opportunity for profit, provided that the eventual client already has a mastery of Internet Marketing and team building. And it also seems that, as is usually the case with new companies, joining now can be a good investment. However, one can assert that it’s not the moment of joining that is the key to success, but the marketing method you use. There is a place where you can get precious insight on these methods and techniques applied to the MHA, and you can get it by clicking this link now My Harvest America Domination
