Market research is essential to any Internet marketing you do.  The point of market research is to:

a) Find out what keywords your target market is searching.

b) Discover the pain or problem your target market is experiencing.

c) Create your content rich with the keywords your market is using and that offers a solution to the problem/pain your target market is experiencing.

d) Help search engines find you and rank your content and website highly so your sites show up on the first pages of Google, Yahoo, Bing when your target market searches using the popular and targeted keywords.

It does not matter if you are using pay per click advertising (ppc) or if you are using free marketing strategies like video marketing, blogging, article writing, press releases etc., keyword research is key.

If you are not using targeted keywords that your specific market is using you are wasting your efforts and will not see results. Your content will get swallowed in to the  great abyss of the Internet never to be found by anyone.

There is a lot of information on the internet about how to market your internet business for success.  It sometimes seems that everyone is out there trying to get their hand on your money.  What’s worse there’s all these different ways of marketing on the internet if could make any ones head spin.

I know myself I tried pretty much every traffic generating method there is got results using all of them but never the results that I expected.  Then Mike Dillard revealed a secret to me that blew my mind.  Its so simple and made me see the error of my marketing.

These secrets were the 3 simple steps you need to follow to create that business success with internet marketing.  So here are the following simple 3 steps:

#1.  Choose ONE traffic/lead generation technique, learn it & perfect it.

Here is where I went wrong and most likely where a lot of internet marketers go wrong.  Don’t try to be the jack of all trades of internet marketing, at least not until you master at leas one lead generation method. If you try use every method out there you will get no where and eventually get really burned out.  I’m speaking from persona experience here.

Find a lead generation strategy that works for you personally and just work on mastering that method.  Once you master it you can move on and learn a new internet marketing strategy.

#2. Learn Copy.

Learning copy doesn’t mean learning how to copy and paste.  It means learning how to create ads that pull people in to being your leads, buying from you and joining your business opportunity.  This is a crucial skill for any type of marketing that you do.  It will help you write ppc ads, ezine ads, blog posts, videos that get you leads and sell.  This is a must have skill for offline and online marketing.

If you are on a budget I recommend you invest in the Copy Writer’s Guild from Mike Dillard. It will help you get started and create ads quickly.

If you have more money to invest I recommend anything by John Carlton. You can just Google his name.  Be sure to get his Simple Writing System.

#3. Build your list.

Concentrate on growing your list and building relationships with them.  Send them interesting and valuable content.  Perhaps some interesting information you found or blog post you wrote.  This list is you what’s really important because when you have some great product that will help,  or you want to share you business opportunity you can market to the people on your list.

Your odds of recruiting form your list or someone buying a product from you is much higher. These are people that already know you and like you and some of them most likely will buy from you more then once. You can use tools like Aweber to grow and manage your list.

Having your own privet list is crucial to any business online and offline!

These are the 3 steps of creating a successful business, once you figure out what lead generation methods you want to leads, start learning copy and grow your list all you have to do is…Rinse & Repeat.

Golden Moor is using a centuries old concept for their take on the multi-level-marketing business.  Since  ancient times people have been aware of the healing powers of various bogs and have been using it for health and fitness purposes.

At first they would travel to the places where the bogs happened to exist, over time some industrious guy came up with the idea of packing the mud and reselling it, thus eliminating some of the traveling costs and making the benefits of the mud more accessible worldwide.  No one knows who, but it can be safely assumed that he made a lot of money with this idea.

The simple fact that this company has bee around for more than 23 years is an indicator for their reliability.  As well, its founder conducted a thorough research in order to establish the company, having analyzed 63 different bogs until he came to the conclusion that a specific bog found in Casselman (Ontario, Canada) should make for his future business object.

After establishing the company Marc Saint-Onge purchased the extraction rights  for the next 25 years. An interesting story is that of how Marc Saint-Onge started his research on these health inducing bogs.  He allegedly used to mix the various mud types by using his washing machine.

Golden Moor’s management team consists of 17 other members besides its founder, each of them bringing unique and necessary skills to the company.  The latest two additions to the team are Charles Mui, Vice President of the Affiliate Program Division, and Scott Reese, VP for the Network Marketing Division.

Golden Moor has developed a wide array of products based on the benefits of the bog.  All products belong to the health and fitness category, and come in the shape of the expected mud wraps, mud baths and facials, body scrubs, hydra-moor creams, and other such items.

An interesting product marketed by them is Ion Detox Therapy, a specially designed tub for foot massage, allegedly having the capacity to remove toxins from the human body.  All their products are guaranteed to relieve the human body from pain, depression, various skin conditions, inflammations, injuries and other illnesses.

This leads us to believe that Golden Moor’s target market is a vast one, comprising of people of all ages and social classes.  If the sheer number of years since they started is not enough proof that Golden Moor is a reliable company, the fact that they dominate 80% of Canada’s spa market should suffice.  Moreover, they are distributing in 17 countries worldwide, among which include Hong Kong, Thailand and Taiwan.

Unfortunately, there are some things that counterbalance all the advantages mentioned so far.  There is little to find out on their compensation plan short of joining the company.  The only thing we can say for sure is that they use a binary matrix plan, and the joining fee can vary according to the purchased package.

Another elusive aspect is the training offered by the company.  It seems as the only training a new recruit will get is what his sponsor can provide. And this can prove to be a serious downside, affecting both personal distributors’ and the company’s profits.

All in all, Golden Moor is a lot like many other MLM companies out there. They make up for a great opportunity, and nothing more.  Everything, starting from joining, building a team, approaching clients and actually selling is the distributors’ responsibility.

If the distributors are not properly educated on marketing techniques, the outcome is very easy to guess.  But what about all the people out there who still want to give Golden Moor a shot?

A Sure-fire Way To Get Scratched Off Of My Friends List

Financial Destination International, or FDI for short, is the newest branch of Financial Destinations, aimed at no less than rocking the communications world with a multi level marketing approach. This is a brave and lofty attempt, as their target niche of the market is far from being easy to penetrate, let alone rock.

Nevertheless, from their claims we gather that they are very confident, but do they have anything do base their confidence on? Bear with us as we further analyze FDI’s chances of becoming a successful and lucrative company.

FDI’s parent company, Financial Destinations, is based in Windham, New Hampshire, and has been launched in June 2003. All these facts can be a little puzzling, but FDI’s products belong to the expected telecommunications field. Financial Destination International markets proprietary telecom technology and a telecommunications network which has already proven to be reliable and trustworthy.

But their claims seem a little too far fetched, guaranteeing quality VoIP calls even through regular dial-up connections. It is a common tendency among newly established MLM companies to exaggerate the benefits and properties of their products, so this fact can be overlooked if all the other aspects of FDI are satisfying.

As we have already stated, the specific market targeted by FDI is tough to enter and even tougher to survive. As an advantage, once inside the market the profits can skyrocket, as telecom is a multi trillion dollar business, and a need the world cannot do without. So, if FDI play their cards right, they can turn this idea into profit in no time, and their distributors can become successful consequently.

However, in order to profit as a distributor, there is one other aspect that matters.

The compensation plan employed by FDI is based on a two field system. As opposed to the usual binary system, their plan hasn’t got the possibility of gaining from the spillover, so a distributor will have to see that he matches up the two legs in order to make any money.

Another thing setting it apart from the regular binary system is that it offers a residual compensation for the activity of the distributor’s teams down to the fourth level. The payment increases once one gets more points, and this is accomplished by enrolling users and taking care that these new users are active.

From what we have seen so far, FDI is an opportunity above all. As a consequence, one has to take the chance, join in and apply whatever direct sales techniques he has learnt. Some MLM companies offer this type of training for their distributors, and few of them offer a really competitive type of training. It is not the case with FDI, though.

There is nothing stated on this issue, and this leads us to think that they don’t offer any.

Joining such a company means assuming some risks, fewer for experienced marketers and more for inexperienced ones. Nonetheless even if you are already familiar with direct sales techniques, there is always more to learn, as this field is an ever expanding one.
