Here is a husbands view.

You will spend far more than you will take in.
You will pay “The Leaders” monthly to be a member.
You will buy your own advertising.
You will buy a website.
You will pay to maintain it.
You will have printing cost.
You will have to pay for a long distance/international calling plan.
You will buy and hang bandit signs.
You will buy leads.
You will pay to fly to the conferences.
You will pay to stay a extra day.
You will be told to ignore negative postings about the company.
You will buy recommended books and CD's.

You will be brainwashed.
You will end up broke.
You will be ashamed.

Is it worth it? NO!!!

As with any “Business Opportunity” do your due diligence.

I completely understand and feel your anger and frustration. Just to make it clear I'm not with Polaris or ever was but have experience with a similar company. The major problem with a lot of opportunities or rather leaders in some of these companies is that they make it seem easier then it really is and that they spend a lot of money on advertising. Unfortunately its not easy especially if you don't have 20G's to spend for Google Adwords. (that's what some of my company leaders said they spend on PPC)

Another issue is that most of these companies sell products with high price tag mainly so that they can pay out the high commissions, with lesser known speakers. But the killer is that there are companies with similar products that cost a fraction of those costs to join, with famous speakers, therefore making them more easily and desirable to the average person.

Yet another issue I have with these companies that they are very set in their ways of marketing their business in the front end on the internet, but unfortunately this doesn't work now a days, and that's why most people go broke and are forced to quit. Then, as with my opportunity, criticize openly those who decide to take a different approach to marketing their businesses so that they can stay in the game even if they don't sponsor.

I full agree with you on the necessity of doing your own research, but as for income statements, that's something that's absolutely useless because it has nothing to do with how much or how little you are going to make. It is a business after all and just like a traditional business 95% of businesses will fail.

With businesses there is never a guarantee.

Thanks for your comment and please feel free to get in touch with me if you'd like

Humans taking advantage of Humans

After the lawsuit against Liberty League, Polaris Media was formed. Same people, same leaders, same business. I know, I saw my wife diligently try to sell their products. After 3+ years our retirement emptied, she could no longer agree with their promise of a six figure income.
"The Leaders" make the money.
You will spend far more on marketing, websites, phone packages, advertising, printing, ect. than you will make.
The Leaders will tell you that there are people
who are saying negative things about the company, those are the quitters.
No those are the people who ran out of funds, or perhaps they came to their senses and realized the company claims of income are not achievable no matter how good a sales person you are.
As with any "Opportunity" do your due diligence first. Question the person selling you the "Opportunity", ask for their income statement.
